The Quilting Season
| Challenge Contest Our Cool Contest results are in! Everyone who participated started out with one Snow Play panel; the only rule was to do anything with the panel, even if to just cover the rust spots in a car! Our customers chose Heather Lenz as the winner, for her lap quilt made with the Snow Play panel in the center and companion fabric added around. Heather received a $35 gift certificate. Other participants: Anne Wright (wall hanging with hidden ring - look for it), Deborah Cook (pillow), Heather Finnie (tree skirt & tree ornaments), Judy Tomer (luggage or photo tags), Julie Davenport (cards & round box), Mary Hogan (Cathedral Windows tree ornament), Nancy Blow (table topper), Rhonda Horswill (bowl), Rita Robbins (child's apron), Rindy DeBoer (tote bag), and Rosalie Everett (bean bag toss game). These participants received a thank you gift from our shop. The first photo below shows the original Snow Play panel, and then below are photos of the projects. Thank you, everyone, for participating. This panel proved to be a true challenge - far more than usual! We so appreciate your involvement, and everyone who saw the display of your projects thought them all creative and inspiring. |
