Classes
Glue Turn Applique: Sunday November 22nd, noon -
4:30 pm. This technique class, first taught by MaryLiz a few
weeks ago, was so popular & successful that we're offering it
again. This hand applique' method uses a glue stick to turn
under raw edges & allows for great accuracy & sharp points,
even on small pieces. MaryLiz is an expert in hand applique'.
Crazy Quilt Embroidery: Friday December 4th, 10:30
am - 3 pm. This beginning hand embroidery class uses perle
cotton thread as an easy introduction to the world of crazy
quilting embellishments. You may have seen the beautiful
jackets here in the store that show many of these fantastic
stitches - this class gets you started with a simple pillow or purse
project. See stitching examples right & below. $25.
Hand Quilting: Sunday January 17th, 1:30 pm - 4 pm.
Teresa, our expert in hand applique' & quilting, will introduce you
to the joys of hand quilting. $20 + $10 kit fee.
Let’s Get Started Quilting! Mary Lindquist teaches you
quilting from cutting all the way through to binding.
Monday evenings 5:30 pm to 8 pm for 5 sessions. You may start at
any time - just phone the store to let us know you're coming.
$25 + supplies purchased from our store.
